This Policy sets out a preliminary minimum target of 20 MW by 2025 through a mix of renewable energy technologies (excl. large hydro). This minimum target maybe increased following more detailed evaluations of resource potentials.

The policy is now consolidated and aligned under the new National Energy Policy 2025.
