The Greener Homes Grant aims to support homeowners to increase the energy efficiency of their homes. Up to 700,000 grants of up to CAD 5000 are available. The Greener Homes Grant ended on December 31, 2025.

Oil to heat pump affordability program (also part of the Greener Homes Initiative): Households are eligible to receive an upfront payment of up to USD 10,000 to switch from oil heating to new, energy-efficient heat pumps (for household with income at or below median income)
