The main objective of the programme is to reduce building energy consumption and promote energy efficient technology, ranging from appliances to photovoltaic panels and solar water heater. It establishes a credit line for households to purchase household and gas appliances, and material and equipment that improves the building envelope, with a maximum amount up to 25 million pesos, a repayment period of up to 5 years, and a 43% fixed rate. It also provides loans for businesses to purchase equipment and material that reduce energy losses, with up to 10 year terms and a 27% fixed rate in the first year.
