Calificación Energética de Viviendas (CEV) is Chile’s national energy rating framework, initially established in 2011, to evaluate and label homes according to their expected energy consumption (from A to G). This regulation mandates the CEV certification for all new residential housing projects from October 2025, and the energy rating must be disclosed in building permits and in all promotional or sales materials.
