Peru’s National Strategy for Biological Diversity to 2050, approved by Decree Supreme No. 008-2024-MINAM on 25 October 2024, establishes five strategic objectives with 29 national goals and 143 actions to curb biodiversity loss, strengthen governance, boost research, and integrate adaptation and sustainable management across sectors.
