In July 2024, the Energy and Climate Change Ministerial Council (ECMC) endorsed the National Consumer Energy Resources Roadmap (CER Roadmap) which sets out an overarching vision and Implementation Plan to unlock the benefits of CER for all Australians and the electricity system. The National CER Roadmap aims for a consistent approach across Australia while ensuring fair access to Consumer Energy Resources (CER) and stronger protections for consumers.
